1. Where did you meet?
in person, when he picked me up for our date... first contact was via cell phone :)

2. How long did you date before you got married?
5 months before engaged, so 7 months before we got married...

3. How long have you been married?
5 months.. wow.. really??? lol seems so much longer!!!

4. What does he do that surprises you?
he cleans and helps around the house.... it's a new thing for me...

5. What is your favorite feature of his?
his tummy!!!! It's just so cute and i love playing with it! and he does the Philsbery laugh when i touch it. :)

6. What is your favorite quality of his?
That he doesn't give up.

7. Does he have a nickname for you?
Many, but my favorite is when he calls me his Kitty :)

Blue.

Steak.... and broke food

Football.

11. When and where was your first kiss?
oh wow... March 17. Our first date lol

12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
SLEEP!!!!!!!! :) and play farmville while sitting next to each other. :)

13. Do you have any children?
I do! His name is Bret. lol but really not yet. One day we will, gotta stop being so sick first if we can.

14. Does he have a hidden talent?
Yes! He can tell exactly what's wrong with me, or if I'm upset or crying from across the state! It's scary sometimes, but it's comforting too because when you are that connected with someone, you know you're with them till the end of time.

25 years YOUNG!

Bret did! 6 flags, right after we got off X2(which has become my favorite roller coaster!) i was in tears because i was freaked out and he held onto me and said he was sorry that he forced me on the ride and that he loved me and would never let anything happen to me ever. i cried more.. lol

Country and Ludacris....


18. What do you admire most about him?
That he doesn't care for people's faults, because he knows he has them too.

Crazy crazy crazy!

Time is CRAZY! Bret an I seem to have cashed out when it comes to time...
Bret started school again on Tuesday, and already my poor husband is wearing thin. WOrk plus school plus still being sick.. Ya, my love has it bad..
I am nearly done with Apollo College!!!!!! just these next 2 weeks, then off to my externship! Still have no idea where I'm going for that. I do feel better, most days, but sleep seems to be something that just doesn't exist in married life. And us not having kids just makes us seem so innocent, i know dear siblings, i know.

THE BIG ISSUES:
After a tiny little mishap, Bret realized that the motorcycle key went.. "missing" yesterday. Well, we have decided that the missing key was a blessing, that the Lord was protecting him from all the crazy people who can't drive in the rain and watch for a motorcyclist. So a few bucks later, we have a spare key! :D YAY SPARES!!!!

Bret is STILL sick! That less knowledgeable PA at his dr's office must really not know much. He still coughen badly, he's congested like no other, and finally today, about 20 mins ago to be exact, his fever BROKE!!!!! He still going to the Dr's tomorrow, and Kitty is gonna complain loud if we get anyone but the Dr this time. I'm betting it's walking bronchitis...

I completed my extern packet (all whopping 12 assignments!) the other day while sitting oh so happily at SSO (social security office) which i have YET to change my name! Stupid mexies! let the LEGAL people change their names!!!! GAH! Back to the point... I completed the packed, which i was told is due TODAY but no.. it's truely due by 3 weeks after my extern is OVER! I had 9 weeks to do it.. and i did it in 1... ya, i lost some sleep over it.. kind of..

Still no calling if you are all wondering, and yes, i can cook!
Pineapple Steaks! just take a lil pineapple juice and pour it over the steaks as a marinade, and POOF! yummy sweet and sour steaks!!!!! :D I'm also addicted to pineapple..

Shots...

What a complete and utter WASTE of time!!!! In class right now, we are doing injections pt 1, viral shots... so that means flu shot... being administered by STUDENTS!!!!! 99.9% of the time we just use saline solution, which if great cuz even if you mess up how deep the needle goes your body gets just (.....) that much more hydrated... I like that part. but no, we have to give each other the stupid pointless, flu shot! APOLLO IS STUPID! 13 thousand dollars just to be out sick for another 2 weeks because my genius classmates cant give a shot correctly... im so looking forward to it.
Ya know, the flu shot doesn't even work most of the time! there are over 50 strains of the flu, the shot only covers 3... and then the H1N1 shot covers another, do a total of 4/50... ya, i feel safer knowing that... the only reason why everyone is so sick now a days is because no one eats dirt anymore... what i mean is we are so preoccupied with staying "germ free" that we forget WE NEED TO GET SICK!!!! otherwise we will be just like the Inca, killed by a cold. though, they were killed by mainly smallpox, whatever. point is flue shot and H1N1 shot both pointless,and yet i was forced to get H1N1 by my dr ("your in the med field, you need to get the shot...") and the flu shot via my peers... what next, casting unbroken limbs? -actually, i want to do that....-
Blah.
So on a lighter topic-
we figured out why im so sick... lead poisoning. Our bathroom is pained with lead paint so when we take a shower, our bathroom seriously oxidizes... ya... we bought enough TSP(some sort of smoke/lead/fungus/mold remover at Home Depot) to clean a volcano. now Bret gets to TSP the bathroom then put "Kilz" on the walls... don't know why he doesn't want to scrape it but he dont so he bought enough paint cover for 5 houses.... so thats what's going on in the Woodard world... When we get ready to paint the other rooms, i will let everyone know. :)

thanksgiving :)

so this year bret and i spent thanksgiving up in provo with his family. it was tons of fun! no snow yet, soon, like tomorrow its suppose to snow. we will see lol.
went to my first BYU game, and they won! 26-23! YAY!
now its off to temple lights then tomorrow we head home. :) still sick, dumb cold.... lol

Kitty's Medical Updates

As some people know via Facebook, i made another trip to the ER last night. I've been having rather bad lower abdominal pain and couldn't keep anything down for a full 24 hours. And as i kindly posted, Friday i got 2 teeth pulled and not being able to keep anything, not even spit, down put my pain above the medical chart 10. The combined the pain was a 50. So after talking to Amber, mom, dad, and Laurissa it was decided that an ER trip was in order. Due to a vertigo mix up at Desert Banner, I refuse to go there, so that left one of two placed, Gilbert Mercy or Banner Gateway. Well, we decided to try Banner Gateway, it's newer, faster, (according to the Haws family, thank you, you were very much right) and a lot cleaner. Bret was at work most of the time i was in there, and mom was with her, the whole time. I wanted Bret there as fast as he could get there. Bret not having anymore time off for sick leave really bites when things like this comes up. Back to the story. me and mom arrived at the ER around 1:30pm. i was the 3rd person in line, 3rd!!!! Only 2 people ahead of me, and right when i was called, i immediately got a room. The nurses were extremely nice and sweet. They didn't get me an IV, pain meds and blood draws until about 3:40pm. They had to check my Urine sample, which was more than my little dehydrated body should have given up, but i did it. i got a pelvis exam, ultrasound and an inner-ultrasound. Took forever to get the ultrasounds done, and i swear i saw something on the screen, Bret told me i was right, i saw my body on the screen. Well, i got some anti-nausea,2 doses of Morphine, and 2 fully drained bags of saline solution. Ya, i was loopy. To prove it, Laurissa texted me, and i thought it was Bret!! Sorry Laurissa, you're a good person, but Bret's not you. lol After many tests, and many hours in the ER, we finally got a result. i had 2 Ovarian cysts, and 1 ruptured. Now if you remember back to July, The same tune was playing then. i have a number for a Gynecologist I'm suppose to call, they are suppose to talk to me about what may help and how to prevent and what not. I hope things go well. We thank everyone for their texts, phone calls, and messages expressing concern. We're far from out of the clear, but soon, we hope to be a lot healthier. Thank you again.

The Doctor's Office...

Technically, it's a dental office, but same diff. Today, i got one of my LAST treatments done before all my teeth are fixed and finally normal cleanings can begin. I got 2 teeth pulled today, right next to each other... he pulled one out and the other FELL out! he didn't even need to use the "fancy" tools, nor give me stitches! Just pulled out one, and plop! the other came too. He missed his buddy i guess. So now, my right side of my face is swollen, my pupils are dilated due to the vicoden, and my stomach is growling... and i cant eat for another... well until i stop bleeding for more than 30 mins... it has slowed, in the past 2 hrs since they were pulled, my gauze have gone from being soaked, to just kinda soaked with blood. Nothing is numb anymore either, so yes, i hurt... BADLY! even with the vicodens and ibuprofens in my system, i still hurt.. it sucks.. cold pack is on my face for the swelling, but the pain!!!! AHH!!!! at least i only have to endure this once more... Dec. 4... the last tooth will be pulled, then in Jan. i will get my mouth guard for sleeping, apparently i grind my teeth and clench my jaw shut when i sleep, how Dr. Brenchly can tell that is beyond me, but i'll believe him. so if anyone has extra jello, soup and doesn't taste too bad when cold (cant have hot till monday, just to be safe, no stitches just blood clot) or anything else that doesn't taste too horrid when cold, and they love me enough to bring it over to the house, PLEASE DO!!!!! :D I love visitors, you may even get employed ;) just kidding... maybe...

at last, i keep having trouble with my eyes staying open, so i will end here and go to sleep. call/txt me if you wish, cant promise ill answer, but i will try.

Home!

So we are mostly moved into our home. Thank you everyone who has helped thus far.
Sadly some illness has plagued the house. Bret and i are sick... no im not pregnant! so dont ask that. We dont know what it is exactly... but we both hope whatever it is goes away... FAST! thats all for the update...
